Credit Repair Is a Paper-and-Phone Business.
CreditPath Made It a Software Problem.

CreditPath is an AI-powered credit dispute management platform built by Nigel Brooks. It serves both individual consumers looking to repair their own credit and the professional firms managing disputes on behalf of clients, with enterprise-grade authentication separating the two sides.

The Challenge

One platform, two very different users.

Individual consumers need a simple path: upload a credit report, understand what is hurting their score, and get dispute letters sent to the right bureaus. The process needs to be accessible to someone with no credit knowledge at all.

Credit repair firms have a different problem. They manage dispute processes for dozens or hundreds of clients simultaneously, need to track progress across all of them, and require secure access controls that separate their firm from individual consumer accounts. Microsoft Entra ID handles enterprise authentication on the firm side, giving organizations the identity management infrastructure their compliance requirements demand.

The Build

React, Python, Postgres, Terraform, and enterprise auth.

The consumer-facing side runs on a React frontend with a Node and Python backend. A user uploads their credit report, and the AI layer parses it to identify negative items: late payments, collections, inquiries, and inaccurate entries. For each item, the system generates a dispute letter formatted to the requirements of the applicable bureau, Equifax, Experian, or TransUnion.

On the firm side, Microsoft Entra ID provides enterprise-grade identity management. Firm administrators authenticate through their organization's identity provider, giving them access to a multi-client dashboard where they can monitor dispute status, track score movement, and manage the pipeline across their entire book of clients.

The infrastructure is provisioned and managed through Terraform, with Postgres as the data store. The architecture is designed to scale across both user types without collapsing the separation between them.
